In 2024, we set an ambitious goal to give back $50,000 to our communities in honor of Squeeze In’s 50th anniversary. With the help of our incredible guests, team, and partners, we’re thrilled to announce: We did it!
Since opening our doors in 1974 in Truckee, CA, we’ve been more than just a place to enjoy the best omelettes on the planet. We’ve been part of the neighborhoods we serve, and this milestone year was the perfect way to showcase our commitment to giving back.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada
Our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters holds a special place in our hearts. This year, we sponsored their golf tournament and gala, hosted their board meetings, and helped spread holiday cheer at their staff Christmas party. Supporting their mission to inspire and ignite the potential in youth is a joy we’ll always cherish.
The Great Reno Balloon Race
From sponsoring a balloon to providing the mimosa and Bloody Mary Bar in the Cloud 9 VIP Tent, we love helping to make this magical event memorable and to keep it free for the community for years to come. The Great Reno Balloon Race continues to be one of the highlights of the year for our team and guests alike.
Honoring Our Veterans
This year, we proudly served over 400 free meals on Veterans Day, for our annual Veteran’s day appreciation celebration. A small token of gratitude for those who have served our country.
Supporting First Responders
We were honored to deliver lunch to firefighters, during the Davis Fire, recognizing their tireless dedication to keeping our communities safe.
Education and Youth Support
We love supporting schools and educational programs that inspire and empower future generations. This year, we:
- Sponsored the Santa Breakfast at Rollan Melton Elementary and the Teacher Appreciation Lunch at Billinghurst.
- Supported athletic programs like Girls on The Run, Spanish Springs High School Baseball, McQueen High School Soccer, and the 12U Spanish Springs Cougars.
- Contributed to impactful organizations like Communities in Schools, The King’s Academy, and Glenn Duncan STEM Academy.
- Sponsored the University Balloon Race Scholarship Committee and donated to events like the UNR PSI CHI Silent Auction.
- Partnered with the UNR Women’s Rugby Team to support their athletic and academic endeavors.
