The food was top-tier, the vibe was immaculate, and the concept of "bottomless toast" is nothing short of a divine carbohydrate-based miracle that the world desperately needs. ​Unfortunately, the entire culinary voyage careened violently into a ditch the moment your floor staff clocked in—specifically, your resident Drill Sergeant masquerading as a waiter. ​Here is how you can salvage the ship: ​1. Address the "Seat Yourself" Literacy Crisis ​The "Seat Yourself" sign with a menu on the table is crystal clear. It is simple, elegant, and foolproof. However, if your patrons are struggling with basic English comprehension, I strongly suggest putting it in Spanish, or perhaps interpretive dance. Whichever gets the job done so customers don’t have to dodge crossfire just to sit down. ​2. Court-Martial the Male Waiter ​Our table was approached almost instantly—not to take our order, mind you, but by a male waiter who chose to loudly bark orders at a fellow waitress like he was commanding a platoon in a Denny's war zone. ​My brother in hospitality, focus on the troops you already have. Instead of conducting field exercises from the hot plate window like a bewildered meerkat staring at oncoming traffic, channel that frantic energy into the basics: ​Keep the coffee flowing. ​Keep the water full. ​DEFEND THE TOAST. It’s your signature offering! The bottomless basket of dreams should never run dry while your servers are busy barking tactical directives across the dining room. ​3. The Napkin Protocol (Pro Tip) ​Pro tip for the staff: automatically bring extra napkins. People are messy, grease is real, and handing out a single napkin makes your restaurant look like it’s rationing paper products during the Great Depression. Proactively dropping off a stash makes your team look like absolute professionals. ​Get an expediter, take the headset off the waiter, and let the man find his inner peace—far away from the hot plate window. We had a new waitress so waiting is understandable but if you haven't been in, you can see food in the window. There were multiple plates there for over ten minutes. Food is a huge let down versus the sparks location. I got the chicken fried steak, it's prefrozen and the gravy is likey from a can. I can see why there are terrible reviews. Ordered a chipotle hustle from DoorDash and it is the nastiest thing I’ve ever ordered on DoorDash, including Taco Bell. The chipotle sauce is old tasting curdled. Everything is just nasty. It’s just nasty old tasting and looks like vomit.. This is my second time ordering from the squeeze in Infernally and it’s my last time last time I got a biscuits and gravy meal and it wasn’t homemade gravy. It was powdered gravy with no sausage in it and I was not impressed. Oh yeah, and the Pillsberry tube muffins that you buy in the grocery store you would think a place like this could make homemade biscuits and gravy. It’s so simple but yeah I’m done with this place. Great atmosphere all around. It’s a casual and inviting feel. Our server Joshua was attentive without hovering and if ykyk. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Fernley 🤩
