Before the Omelettes, There Were Lawn Aliens
Our green aliens are made by Kay and Shi’s grandpa, Marvin, a wooden toy and decor maker.
Before they became part of Squeeze In, they were part of the family’s yard. Some families have lawn flamingos. Others have garden gnomes. Ours had aliens.
So when our family took over Squeeze In, one of those little green characters came along and found a home inside the restaurant.
He wasn’t arriving as an official mascot. He was bringing a little piece of our family into the business.
A Guest Gave Him His Perfect Line
Then someone wrote “Best Omelettes on the Planet” next to the alien.
And just like that, it clicked.
An alien. A restaurant known for omelettes. A phrase that tied them together perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction.
The words stuck, and so did our little green friend.
A Little Family History With Your Breakfast
That alien is a reminder of how much of Squeeze In’s personality comes from the people who make it their own.
In this case, Grandpa Marvin made the decoration, our family brought it inside, and a guest supplied the words. Together, they helped create something that still feels unmistakably Squeeze In.
We love that a piece of our family’s front yard became part of the place where other families gather for breakfast.
